This research is typically based on the observation that is conducted to analyze the actual reasons behind lethargic behavior of the patients in the orthopedic department in the hospitals due to the use of sedative drugs and pills.

As per the case study, one of the students who are assisting the staff has observed some unusual lethargic behavior of the young patients such as feeling asleep in a regular manner. While researching about the exact reasons the student came up with an observation in respect to the views that the patients has shared to the student. The views of the patients were based upon the use of sedative drugs and pills along with the inadequate monitoring of the requirements of the patients.

Therefore, this research is also focused to understand the quality of supervision of the staff that is provided to the patients who are admitted in the orthopedic department based upon the views of the patients.

I have chosen the quantitative method of the collection of data in order to analyze the observations according to the student and the views of the admitted patients in the orthopedic department.

Providing emotional, physical, and mental support will help the persons who are in need. In the hospitals or the medical centers there are various kinds of drugs that are recommended by the doctors that help to recover the sleeping disorders of the patients. These drugs are mainly provided to the patients as agonists and receptors for the patients staying at the hospital, which leads them to sleep for hours and hours a day. Here quantitative methods are specially used with both primary and secondary data sources (Berton et al. 2020). Quantitative data collection is considered to the procedure of reflecting the observation through the graphical representation of the data that is collected by the process of interview. Talking about the methodology, different data and procedures have been selected by the researchers in order to understand and mitigate the objectives. The main objective that needs to be clarified is the impact of those drugs that help in updating sleep in the patients that are present in the inward and outward of the hospitals. The deductive approach can be used for illustrating the idea.

These techniques include the use of physical activities such as yoga, using of acupuncture, guided imagery, and relaxation through massage techniques and so on. These basically include physical activities instead of consumption of the drugs that can impose side-effects also.

This paper is typically based on the finding and observations of the conducted research which is done by the student who was assisting the staffs of the orthopedic hospital. In this research paper the researcher has highlighted problems that are identified by the students while analyzing the problems faced by the patients who are admitted in the hospital. The research paper also includes the use of the sedative drugs as recommended by the doctors to treat the problems of sleep disorder. However, due the overuse of these drugs the patients are facing several health problems along with feeling asleep for the whole day, which has been mentioned by the researcher in this paper. The observation and the finding that are highlighted in this paper are based on the views and information’s that are shared by the admitted patients of the hospital. Moreover, the researcher has also mentioned the inadequate kind of supervision through the staffs of the hospital. This research paper is also focused on finding the alternatives of these drugs in order to reduce the side-effects that are harmful to the health of the patients.
