A wide range of skills and aptitudes known as academic skills are essential to achievement in conventional education environments including classrooms, universities, and institutions. By means of a mixture of official education, individual study, as well as real-world experience, such abilities are often acquired and enhanced through time. Success in a higher education setting requires mastering academic skills for a number of reasons. Some of the reasons include it helps in the development of the learning process, growth, decision-making, and critical thinking too (Hitch, 2012).
Now considering the topic of the study that is related to tourism management it can be said that there is a list of academic abilities that are necessary in properly completing a degree in BSc in Tourism Management. The list of academic skills includes good written communication, research and analytical abilities, and the capacity for critical thought and problem-solving (Sultan, 2018).
The three sets of skills that have been selected for this study are note-taking, research skills, and paraphrasing.
In this study, I have learned three different skills including note-taking, research skills, and paraphrasing which enhance my experiences and lead to success in academic writing. Note-taking is one of the most significant aspects in terms of academics along with proper study. It is an important academic skill for me to gain knowledge about how to take notes with different crucial abilities (Zhang, and et.al., 2020). In my opinion, taking notes increases my efficiency at work and enables me to locate some important tasks as per the requirement. Taking notes can help to recognize memory and end up serving as a register for crucial details. Taking notes is intended to improve recollection, phonics, attention, and ability to listen to abilities. This process of taking notes entails noting and/or photographing important aspects of data. Sticky notes, a computer, or a piece of paper may all be used to jot down ideas. Making notes during a lecture aids in the retention of information and is a more effective method of learning for me. In my opinion, whenever someone writes something down in a notebook, they are going to record what is happening in their mind (Martínez-Martínez, and e.al., 2019). The young person is better at understanding the material becoming taught as a result of this focused attention. Many questions may arise while the student is taking notes during the lecture. He could then talk about them with this same instructor after or during the learning experience. It is critical that the person taking notes is a better listener and can sieve out critical info. When assessing the material presented in the presentations, take note of the original data (Bhaskara, and Filimonau, 2021). Thus, note-making skills will help me in the future to dig out old information for growth in the future perspective of the business.

Research skills are crucial for producing high-quality academic writing, and they can have a significant positive impact on my quality of writing. The study qualities that can be used in mansions include paying particular attention to details, being able to manage one's time efficiently, and solving problems. The capacity to carry out investigations entails a variety of skills that work together to help one find and comprehend data, draw accurate conclusions, and incorporate workable responses. The research skills help to think critically and identify different sources for understanding tourism activities and businesses (Tankovi?, Kapeš, and Kralji?, 2021). It helps me to analyze my gaps in knowledge and make improvements and clarity in the process of academic writing. Research skills prove to be effective for enhancing my knowledge and improving the quality of my writing as it helps me to approach business purposes and tourist management. It develops a certain level of positive impact on academic skills and creates a different environment to deal with outside business activities. Thorough research expertise can assist you in avoiding copying by guaranteeing that all concepts and data borrowed from these other references are properly related (Cuic Tankovic, Kapeš, and Benazi?, 2023).
The last skill is the ability to paraphrase the context and it is also considered one of the most important skills. Paraphrasing is the process of combining verses taken from other people's literary works into your own words. Paraphrasing is the practice of repeating writings whilst also keeping the original context a specific idea to make changes or help stop infractions (Alharahsheh, and Pius, 2021). Paraphrasing is an essential method of interaction, particularly in academic works such as journals, where it prevents direct replication of an actual source. While trying to study tourism leadership, students are obligated to compose news stories and submit tasks or lectures. As a result, knowing about paraphrasing is essential because it is a widely used intellectual skill for prose. On the other hand, recognizing which and how to get there requires significant experience (Jewell, Reading, Clarke, and Kippist, 2020). It is also important to give credit to the author and their work which we utilize in the writings. This ensures that users to scholastic morals by attributing the original writer of the data. However, the process will help make the different writing promotional for the different business and tourist management activities. It will develop a certain level of managing activities that deal with paraphrasing skills and prove to be effective for growing a business. When you have good paraphrasing skills, you can effectively communicate your message to your audience. You can ensure that your message is clear and that your audience understands what you're trying to convey (Al-Shehab, and et.al., 2021). Tourist management can personalize their data to each tourist's desires and needs by paraphrasing, producing one ‘s expertise more trying to engage and be pleasant. Tourist management teams can use paraphrasing technics to optimize data and make sure that vacationers understand it accurately. Thus, paraphrasing skills help me to develop different business opportunities and enhance my academic skills (Cunha, Kastenholz, and Carneiro, 2020).

The selected three fields will definitely contribute to completing a Business and Tourism Management degree. This is because, with the help of the note-taking process, I can able to take ideas about various skills and techniques to become a successful manager in the tourism industry. On the other hand, research skills will help in studying and identifying various trends and techniques needed to be a successful tourism manager. Paraphrasing abilities can assist me with exhibiting my dominance of the topic. By rewording challenging ideas and speculations, I can show that I am able to figure out the material and can apply it in true circumstances.
