Success in business is a key foundation in the growth of long-term. Efficient planning, managing, and executing the work of the project is not an easy task. The management of the project is a very difficult task. The management of the work of any project has become a critical skill. Proper training is required for the implementation of the project work is necessary. Not only the height of the tower Burj Khalifa but also the design of the tower is very glamorous. People are mesmerized by seeing the beauty of the tower. The infrastructure and designing of the inside area of Burj Khalifa can be described with the satisfaction of the tourists.

Addressing problems

Addressing the problem of the making of the project planning of Burj Khalifa is also necessary. As it is a huge project to implement. So, the planning of the project requires a huge amount of money. So, the management of the cost was a very difficult task for the head of the project management and also the government of “The United Arab Emirates” (Union et al. 2020). The management of time for the starting and the finishing of the project in time also a very difficult task. It is known from the study that the proposed time for the completion of the project was setting of 47 months. But there created some economic crises for the implementation of the project delayed by 9 months. This period in Dubai is also known as “Dubai Shock”.

This crisis was created due to the bubble of investment in real estate. In the mid-time of the construction of Burj Khalifa, there was a change in the design of the tower that effects hugely the cost and also the duration of the project (Molotch et al. 2019). After the changing of the planning of the design of the tower Burj Khalifa, there was a requirement for additional work for the completion of the project within time.

Potential benefits

There are many benefits and advantages of the management of the project. The managing of the projects efficiently and effectively can be managed by an individual. The process of management of a project allows for faster problem-solving (Viswanathan et al. 2020). The productivity of the management will be increased by proper and formal management of a project.

Research aim

The aim of the research is to develop the planning of more towers like Burj Khalifa. The making of this type of tower increases the place of tourists. The main aim is to increase security against the winds that are strong and mainly coming from coasting (El Amrousi et al. 2019). There will have to be applied a structure of mixed type between the steel frame and reinforced concrete. Also aim is to make milestones of inspiration, ingenuity, and achievement from the implementation of this project.

Research objectives

There are various objectives of the research of the planning of the project like Burj Khalifa. The objectives are-

• To build free-standing or tall buildings.
• To build ingenuity milestones (Pokorski et al.2019).
• To build milestones of achievement and inspiration in M.E.
• To apply the type of mixed structure in between steel frame and reinforced concrete.

Scope

The main scope of this project is mainly the development of the tallest sky keeper in the world. The main objective of this project is to shift the economy based on oil to the economy of tourism. Excessive use of oil for the growth of the economy causes the deceases of this non-renewable source of earth. Thus an alternative way to develop the economical position of the country is required (Turner et al.2020). Thus the idea of the development of the tower Burj Khalifa was coming. The main objective of the government of the “United Arab Emirates” is to make the city of Dubai a new universal hub of business.

Research novelty

Various new ideas and innovative and unique perspectives are referred to by the novelty of research. The use of the existing knowledge is in the novelty of research. Something fresh is brought by the novelty of the research. The process of management of a project allows for faster problem-solving. The productivity of the management will be increased by proper and formal management of a project.

Part 2

Literature review

According to the author Abraham et al. 2019, the “Project Management Institute” (PMI) defines a project is a temporary desire to manufacture a unique service, product, or result. In this chapter, the management of the project is based on the making of the tower Burj Khalifa. It is a temporary attempt with significant starting and ending. It is defined as unique because a specified set of operations is created to reach a goal. The objective of a project is to make the production of a unique output by conforming to specific criteria. The three main resources used in a project are material, financial, and human. Project management is the application of skills, methods, and knowledge for the activities of the project to meet all the requirements. This includes the development of the schedules of the project, establishing the details of the project, developing a specific set of project plans, maintaining the proper processes, and addressing project pitfalls. Remedial actions are also included in the project plan if necessary. To handle the project effectively the project manager should be decisive, proactive, authoritative, decisive, motivated, and a good communicator.

According to the author Peirce et al. 2023, in the project management phase, there is mainly a description of the activities which are planned and will actually occur. The implementation of the risk of the project will be done by the manager of the project. The manager of the project will also have to implement control and change and will have to manage communications. The issues and the outcomes of the project management should also have to be solved by the managers of the projects. The team management should have been informed about the responsibilities of the project and the work should have been distributed among all the workers. It is a temporary attempt with significant starting and ending. It is defined as unique because a specified set of operations is created to reach a goal. The objective of a project is to make the production of a unique output by conforming to specific criteria. Other than that, confirming and defining project objectives and goals, achievement of them, quantifying the essential resources, completing dates, and determination of budgets are also included in the management of the project. It also involves the implementation and control of objective and accurate information for the effectiveness of the mechanism and plan.

There are various problems that are arising in the time of the management of the project. The problems of project management are also known as the gap in the research. Success in business is a key foundation in the growth of long-term. Efficient planning, managing, and executing the work of the project is not an easy task. In this case study of the planning of the project of Burj Khalifa, there was the utilization of information, data, and details of the tower project of Burj Khalifa. The sources of the tower project are available on the internet. The sources of the internet where information related to the planning of the project from research papers, reports, articles, and books. The procedures and planning of the management of the project Burj Khalifa led to the inauguration of the management of the project planning (Zaidan et al.2021). To assess the shortcomings and the success of the overall project and its information is provided in the internet resources. The available knowledge of the research on this topic is reconstructed with the help of a literature review based on the management of the project planning of Burj Khalifa.

Project work plan

In the planning of the project, there are various phases. There are various steps for the completion of this project. The steps of the research are- the areas, aims, objectives, scope of the research, the novelty of research, gap, and shortcomings of research are included in the project work plan of the project planning of Burj Khalifa (Victor et al.2023). The review of the literature will have to be demonstrated. Also, the project work plan there should have to include the timeline of the research or the Gantt chart.

The above figure is the Gantt chart that describes the research timeline. The timeline of any research describes the required time for the completion of the different areas of the research. It is observed from the timeline of research that the completion of the introduction point there is required two days starting from 13/4/23 to 14/4/23. The completion of the aim of the research part requires 2 days starting from 15/4/23 to 16/4/23. The completion of the objectives of the research takes one day on 17/4/23. The completion of the literature review part takes 3 days starting from 18/4/23 to 20/4/23. The completion of the research gap topic takes 2 days from 21/4/23 to 22/4/23. The completion of the research techniques takes 2 days from 23/4/23 to 24/4/23. The completion of the method of data collection takes 3 days from 25/4/23 to 27/4/23.
