I have learned how to use the resources of the construction project effectively using fewer amounts and generating greater output. This in turn helps in reducing the project cost. This helped me to find the cracks and flaws in the process and the possible reason for the occurrence of such flaws and the remedies to be taken to eliminate the flaws. I have learned different things from the chartered surveyors who are involved in the identification of the essential repairs to carry out further research work. This helps in the identification of the construction type used in the entire structure which helps in deciding the suitable redesign and other techniques of construction. I have attended the building survey that helped me to find out some issues which I have raised in front of the Surveyor to find out the proper solution for the same. The building is not in as good a condition and requires immediate steps to recover it from further failure. The dampness in the building will get accelerated due to slipped tiles, and broken windows. As the property is emptied, this enhances the susceptibility towards theft and trespassing. Therefore it is necessary to secure the property and make it watertight before initiating the work (Pandit et al. 2019). In this way, I have learned different things while visiting the renovation site. It is required to pose insurance coverage over the public liability and insurance for protecting the building against fire, construction work, and other damages.
To carry out the work of structure, the present building is made stable first. The different works of the structure are done according to the regulation of the building. The building is protected from different damages with the use of boards and plastic sheets. I have learned about different fixings of building construction. Visiting the site has helped me to learn the different processes that are involved in the building repair. The work of renovation is crucial which allows the effective operation of the building. However, there are different costs involved with the renovation project, which include valuation and survey costs, the cost for property acquisition, finance costs, travel costs, legal costs, planning permission, approval for building renovation, and other equipment. This site visit has provided me with a wide knowledge of the importance of the renovation process. Renovation of the building is done in an effective way. There are certain pitfalls that are considered during the renovation process. Controlling the cost is essential as the construction industry incurs a huge charge. In old properties, it is required construction and repair without proper replacements. Problem-solving project is kept down and different misunderstandings are avoided regarding details and it is required to communicate properly with the builder and client (Loosemore and Malouf, 2019). It is a risky process as it is less predictable in nature in comparison to a new build that has several hidden costs, which are not considered in the original budget. The project cost rose but the requirements are not satisfied. It is required to give more focus on the structural issues neglecting the other aspects of the project. They have followed the strategy of repair but not replacement which may incur the most cost of the renovation project. The period of retention of the product is cheaper than replacing it and thus adding property characteristics. They have focused on using the correct material for construction that has quality rather than eliminating cheap materials. This helps in obtaining the desired results of the project.
Improvement
After reviewing the incidents and the experiences through my personal attitudes toward the process, I have recognized the potential areas of significant improvement. All these areas of improvement would be effective as regards my future areas of skill attribution exploring greater enhancement in order to achieve better excellence in addressing the challenges and risks. In this regard, I should prioritize tasks based on the efficacy and relevancy of the detailed management practices (Meng et al. 2021). Based on the feedback of the specific assignment, I have identified the need for the improvements of exploring diversified resources with the synthesis action of the different analytical and research-oriented practices. Throughout my process of the incidents, it is well represented that proactive learning proves to be of greater significance as regards addressing the challenges for enhancing my learning journey. The difficulties faced while the occurrence of different incidents is discussed effectively in the entire study process. I have learned several skills and techniques that have improved my management skills and improved my work quality. I have improved my communication skills, cognitive skills, analytical skills, and logical reasoning. This skill was helpful in achieving the target of the project in an effective manner. This has improved my research skills to obtain the required work quality. Project planning is done to obtain the desired objective of the project. This also helps in obtaining the achieving the targets of the project within the time and budget (Winge et al. 2019). This taught me to utilize the resources efficiently which involves using only the required amounts of resources to obtain the objectives. In this way, the entire process is improved in an effective way. Better work clarity is obtained and effective analysis is needed to obtain the solution. It has helped me to learn different techniques, tools, and software that will enhance the work accuracy, and quality and make the process faster. In this way, this helps maintain the quality of the work for the project.

I now know how to efficiently employ the resources of the construction project to produce more with less input. This ultimately aids in cutting the project's cost. The teamwork has improved my ability to adapt to the environment and operate efficiently. I also assisted my underclassmen in helping me assess my abilities and continue to develop them. I've learned to follow the plan in order to complete the project's overall objectives on schedule and within budget.
