This report is based on the effectiveness of communication skills in the healthcare system. This report is actually a reflection of the communication skills of a healthcare interviewer who is interviewing a mother about her health condition after becoming a mother. This report will discuss effective communication skills via essaying the affected interchange. On the other hand, it will analyze the development of the communication skills of a healthcare interviewer. During communication, different types of issues or problems will be recognized. Hence, there will be a discussion of different types of recommendations to enhance these communication skills is present. This report analyses the important skills during the communication process such as confident and fluent communication, and behavioral expression during communication.

“Health psychology” exists as the effective science of thoughts, behavior, and emotions of humans, with fitness and sickness. Here I am the physician interviewer and I interviewed about the experience of the postnatal condition of a mother. During the interview process, I need to be careful and sensitive to her topic and emphasize her situation. In this case, I tried to make her more comfortable and I maintained my patience level during communication with her. Understanding the experiences of women’s childbirth along with their purpose is important in the condition of culturally and individualized sensitive care at the time of the birth and after childbirth. So it can be started this communication process is extremely critical because any kind of discomfort during the interaction can affect the interviewee. A few studies have defined women’s childbirth knowledge and their purpose but these analyses were accomplished in the created world (Kurti & Dollani, 2019). A lot of women from rural areas cannot express their experiences, their needs, and their mental condition because of the less communication with them. Hence, I needed to understand her condition.
“Communication through Simulation” exists as a productive intercultural communication schedule planned to improve understanding and facilitate procedures for public healthcare communication capability in the healthcare system. This is important for the development of communication skills and the development of the understanding between the patients and the healthcare interviewers (Liaw et al. 2020) The agenda is impressive in its effective application related to “simulation” as a manner for understanding, as it exists absolutely non-clinical in qualities (Canals, 2020). On the other hand, breastfeeding communication techniques can assist women to know about breastfeeding, and corresponding issues, with compassion and acuity. The analysis provides a useful understanding of the sociable and global viewpoints that affect women along with their baby's health when choosing to breastfeed. The analysis objective existed to specify the progress in communication aptitudes, sensed self-efficacy, and reciprocal contract with healthcare interviewers (Roberts & Cooper, 2019). I selected the practice of a combined approach with a concurrent parallel configuration, that exists as qualitative and quantitative data are organized at the exact time and dissected unassisted.
Here is a need to develop communication skills for the betterment of the interview process with the woman. There are different types of processes that can help me develop or enhance my communication skills (Frantzeskaki et al. 2019). These different types of processes are as an interviewer with a sensitive person, I need to make a personal connection with the interviewee. It is significant to obtain to understand the woman behind the interviewee. Interviewee-centered connections are essential in understanding a person's feeling secure and relaxed. Making meaningful relationships with women can enhance consequences and confidence (Beaudart et al. 2022). On the other hand, trust is an important factor in the development of communication skills. Healthcare interviewers need to encourage trust in the person by attending vigorously and bringing every criticism and respect enormously (Ahmed & Abdu, 2021). Reasonable communication skills include a favorable impact on the health consequences of a new mother. Edifice trust brings time but in this case, I need to make her feel secure which can help to develop trust between us. Health interview environments are difficult for a few people mainly for new mothers. It is significant to drive them to feel as relaxed as possible. Hence, the conversation between us is extremely confidential.
Moreover, effective listening is an important part of the communication skills of healthcare interviewers. The most elevated and influential state of listening needs complete awareness and attention. This aptitude is significant not just for clinical staff but even for healthcare interviewer’s executives and different healthcare givers as a mechanism for creating trust and responsibility with their attendants. Utilizing aspects of effective “nonverbal communication”—such as proper and positive facial indications, eye communication, proper body language, posture, gestures, and proper manner of voice is even necessary for building connection. Just beaming can reach a long track (Light, McNaughton & Caron, 2019). These different types of processes can help a healthcare interviewer to develop effective communication skills. On the other hand, healthcare staff need to know the background of the interviewees which can help to cope with the patients. A healthcare interviewer’s capability to compassionately and effectively communicate details is access to a victorious parent–physician connection. This can make the interviewees feel secure, comfortable, and relaxed. In this case, the interviewee is a woman, who is in the post-maternal phase; hence this is an extremely sensitive interview process. So I need to be more careful in this case.
Recommendations
There are present different types of issues or problems. Hence, I can utilize different types of recommendations for the betterment of my communication skills. These can enhance my interaction skills with parent patients (Dalton, Rapa & Stein, 2020). These recommendations are the health staffers need to sit properly and they need to be humble with the patient because they will be in a sensitive state of mind and health. Healthcare interviewers need to show empathy to the parents to understand their situation properly. Other than that, keeping conversations confidential and speaking in plain language is also recommended for the development of communication skills. These different types of suggestions or recommendations can help me to improve my communication skills in the healthcare system.
Conclusion
It can be concluded that every healthcare interviewer needs to develop communication skills. During communication with a new mother, the interviewer needs to be extremely careful and sensitive on her matter. The present healthcare conditions demand improving medical and productivity along with managing fewer periods with each parent, which can hamper sufficient parent–physician interviewer communication. Secure and apparent transmission on both the patient's side and healthcare staffers provides the release of medical misconceptions and improves healthcare workers’ and parent patients’ dignity. Hence this report has concluded that a need for effective communication and some recommendations are also needed to improve communication skills.
