My Career Experiences
I did my first job in the year 2015 as a project manager in the Mosolak Nigeria ltd. Where my role wad to conduct and organized meetings with the management for the strategy formulation. In 2017, I have worked as a marketing Intern at the Segun Fasiku Property management. I joined as the brand manager in the year 2019 in the Netmonita where I organized training session and conduct due diligence which had help in reduction in the losses. In 2019, I have worked as Virtual assistant in the MT Limited. I have encouraged students for developing knowledge regarding the natural conservation by acting as English Test auditor in the year 2019.
This is refer to as identifying all potential strengths, weakness, opportunities and threats which are impacting the working of organization. This is the model which aim at determining all strengths and link this with opportunities which are available in market (Importance of SWOT analysis, 2022). This will help in identifying future strategies for organization based on company’s ability so that appropriate benefit could be derived from available opportunities. This analysis is undertaken to determine all weaknesses and threat which could hamper the profitability of firm and identifying all measures by this could be overcome.
Strengths:
By conducting SWOT analysis accurate and reliable information could be collected which help in formation of appropriate strategies (Adeani, Febriani and Syafryadin, 2020). This will help in identify core competencies of firm which could be used to determine upcoming goals.
Through this model accurate planning could be done that will be helpful in overcoming all threats and weakness (Jatmiko et al, 2021). By implementing these theories, benefits of all opportunities could be gained by establishing appropriate policies.
Weaknesses:
Ineffective research and development program will lead to wrong determination of strengths and weakness (Kudriavtceva, 2019). This may lead to creation and implementation of strategies which are less impactful.
It is very difficult to identify all potential weakness and threat of an organization (Penchev, 2021). Faulty determination may lead to establishing inappropriate policies for organization.
Application of SWOT analysis in my career experience and future aspirations:
I had implemented the SWOT analysis model in the personal life which had help in deciding the next step in my career. Gibbs model of reflection will be used to describe importance and my experience of learning SWOT analysis in my career. I have understood that before selecting the appropriate course for myself I should determine all my strengths and weakness. This will help in setting up SMART goals for my careers. After using SWOT analysis I understood that I have good leadership and critical thinking. As I have identified my strengths, I search for all available opportunities which could be used by me in deciding next step in my career. By conducting SWOT analysis I have identified that I could pursue my career as manager which will help in using my leadership skills in best possible manner.
B. Pestle analysis
It is the analysis which is undertakes to understand macro environment of the organization (Importance of PESTLE analysis, 2022). This refers to as identifying all the factors which are not in controlled of management of company and impact the working of the firm. This factors impact all the companies in industry irrespective of its size and nature of business activities undertaken by them (Phadermrod, Crowder and Wills, 2019). This analysis includes determining all political, economical, technological and legal changes which are going to occur in countries. By this model their impact could be determined and adequate action could be undertaken to reduce their impact on the working of organization.
Strengths:
Conducting PESTLE analysis will help in getting deeper knowledge regarding various factors which are impacting working of organization (Sekarwinahyu et al, 2019). This will be helpful in determining all the possible strategies by which impact could be reduced.
This analysis will help in identifying all uncertainties on time which will help in reducing risk for organization. This is economical way of identifying all factors which are impacting the working of organization (Siddiqui, 2021).
Weaknesses:
All the factors of Pestle analysis changes on regular basis which make it difficult for organization to carry out effective research.
It is very difficult to find all the important data as it is very hard to predict economical changes that could occur within a day. This made the analysis less effective and inaccurate.
Application of Pestle analysis in my career experience and future aspirations:
Gibbs model of refection will be used to share my experience of implementing PESTLE analysis in my career. I have used this analysis to decide the location form where I should do management course. I have identified government rules regarding scholarship which will help in completing course in less cost. By analysis economic factors I aim at identifying the skills which are more in demand. This will help in investing in developing those skills by which my source for income could be enhanced. I have analysis technological factors by which I determine all the changes that have occurred in technology of country. This helps me in paying more focus toward learning new technology which had helped me in improving my performance. My goal is to become a manager which requires effective skills in formulation of strategies and polices. I have understood that strategies and policy should be selected after evaluating all factors which will be impacting the organization (Zahari and Romli, 2019). This has helped in increasing the efficiency of strategy formulation.
Career objective
From the application of above theories I have identified that I have good leadership and communication skills which will helpful for me in becoming good leader.
I want to become an estate manager within MNCs in which my role will be to manage all the process of real estate property. This will help in growth of the company and the enhancing my own skills.
For long term goals I want to establish my own company and working hard to make the company successful.
Conclusion
It has been concluded from the assignment that the practical knowledge and the applicability of the theories is crucial for the individual development. This also includes my career experience as a manager in different companies. In the assignment SWOT analysis and the PESTLE analysis has been used which will help in effective decision making related to the future. By implementing these theories I was able to analysis all factors of micro and macro environment which will impact the working of organization. It has been identifies that my career goals for the short period to became estate manager of the MNCS and in long I want to establish my own company.
