Conducting a high quality research is one of the challenges task for the researchers due to the increasing research ethics. The researcher needs to make sure that they are following all the important research ethics and ethical considerations while doing the research (Tagg and Spilioti, 2022). In this report the researcher is going to discuss about the major ethical considerations which are being kept in mind while doing research. For this the research aim, objective and methodology is being discussed (Dwivedi et. al. 2022). Based on this the diverse ethical considerations while doing the research are well represented in this report.
The research study aims at exploring about the impact of increasing digital frauds on customer intention to use online shopping.
For this research the researcher is making use of combination of primary and secondary data collection methods. For this primary data the participants for the questionnaire survey will be the conducted with the random people shopping in the market (Arifin, 2018). The customers will be able to explain the best manner about their views related to the increasing cases related to privacy issues and digital frauds while making online shopping. The research design chosen is the exploratory research design (Ienca, 2023). Lastly the research has chosen the qualitative research approach in which the qualitative data is being collected for the research.
On Each Order!
While doing the researcher it is necessary for the researcher to make sure that all the important research ethics are well studied in advance so that the research can be conducted in an ethical manner (Barrow et. al. 2022). As this research study will make use of both the primary and secondary data so the research ethics should also be followed according to it only (Murdoch et. al. 2023). Some of the key areas and the different research ethics which are being kept in mind for this research are stated below such as:
For taking care about the respect, privacy and dignity of research participants the researcher need to make sure that informed consent should be taken from the research participants (Drolet et. al. 2022). While doing the research I will make sure that the informed consent is being taken from the research participants before involving them in the research study. While doing the questionnaire survey all the research participants will be treated equally with proper respect and dignity and no discrimination will take place (Samuel and Richie, 2022). For keeping the data, the name and other details of the research participants confidential the researcher will make sure that all the data should be kept safe and name should not be disclosed (Broday, 2022).
For the researcher it is very important to make sure that all the data is being collected and used in an ethical manner (Yusof et. al. 2022). While using the data from the research study of other authors it is necessary to take sure that Plagiarism should not take place. From a researcher's point of view Plagiarism is a major issue (Zhang et. al. 2022). For this the researcher make sure that no work or content is being copied from any of the research sources available online or offline (Romanowski, 2022). For making sure that the data is authentic the researcher will make sure that the data which is having the data of publication and author name are only used. Along with this the data which is published on high quality research and data sources are only used (Cacciattolo, 2015). Along with this when the data is being collected from the primary data collection method by doing the interview or the questionnaire then it is important to use the data in the authentic manner (Sibbald et. al. 2022). For this the researcher has made it clear that all the collected information is being gathered and analysed in the authentic manner and no changes were being made or no data is being manipulated.
While doing the research the researcher will make sure that dignity and respect of the research participants is kept in mind (Festas et. al. 2022). For this the researcher will focus on using appropriate language and treating all the participants with proper respect.
There are potential risk related to the data safety and security of all the research participants. For this the researcher will make sure that privacy and risk related to the well-being of the research participants will be kept in mind (Wang and Price, 2022). For this the researcher will make sure that all the participations should be treated with proper respect and no personal questions will be asked from the research participants. All this will help in minimising the risk related to the research participants (Franssen, 2022). This research study will be very helpful the researchers who are working over different research topics (Boerman and Smit, 2022). With the help of results of this study the researchers will be able to make sure that they conduct high quality research study. Along with this the results or the findings of this research will help the people in exploring about the information related to increasing digital frauds and privacy issues while doing online shopping (Song et. al. 2022). This will help in increasing awareness related to the digital frauds and all.
Conclusion
From the above mentioned report it can be concluded that for a researcher it is necessary to focus on all the different research ethics in an appropriate manner (Putra et. al. 2022). I believe that while doing research I have to make sure that I am working in an ethical manner and taking care of privacy and dignity of all the research participants. I think that for both the primary and secondary research it is important to work in an appropriate manner for conducting a high quality research.
