It enables us to focus on the sector prominently involved in enhancing professional development in the healthcare setting. The development of a timeline is the time framework promptly required for the completion of the development in a healthcare setting. It enhances the ability to complete tasks within time, therefore, enabling us to manage time. It is followed by measuring progress which is detrimentally important to identify the progress. A development plan without measuring progress ultimately leads to the ruin of the developmental plan.
The mandatory training required for the applicants in my own healthcare organization in proper techniques that can be used in maintaining the health and safety policies. The applicants are required to learn hand washing techniques at regular intervals, clean the working place, avoid contamination of materials, and wear a clean dress to the organization, (Gordon et al. 2019). The training is must for successful employees in the healthcare department. Ethics is a very important part of the functioning of the HR department. It is responsible for the encouragement of collaboration and increasing accountability. According to LSBF, (2022), the major benefits of a CPD plan for the team are retention of the skilled and qualified employees and enabling the company to be updated with the changing demand of the customer. The value of CPD in the professional field is immense in the healthcare system. It imparts training to the employees in a practical and structured manner taht helps them in boosting their knowledge and overall skillsets. At the level of the individual, it ensures taht the knowledge possessed by the individuals is relevant and provides scope for improvement. The effectiveness of HR can be monitored by making use of surveillance methods for the monitoring activities of the team members.
The benefits of the CPD plan are improving and enhancing the learning abilities of the employees and promoting the culture of independent learning in the organization. It also helps in opening new opportunities by enhancing the skills such as communication skills, personal skills, and intellectual skills. It has a role in improving the confidence levels and sets the feeling of commitment for self-improvement in the professional career. According to Bates and Morgan (2018), there are mainly seven elements in the process of effectively developing professional skills in a continuous manner. These are focussing on the content, active learning, collaboration, effective practices by educators, support by coaching, reflection and feedback, and sustained duration. As stated by Manley et al. (2018), CPD in the setting of healthcare helps the HR practitioners in the medical field to acquire skills that are relevant and effective for delivering person-centered and safe care.
